Technical Brief

The Technical Brief is a concise technical summary of the RoRoSafe system, suitable for circulation inside a vessel operator, underwriter, or classification-society engineering function. It is shared on request under a mutual NDA.

What it covers

• System architecture and the three-module deployment model.
• Sensor modalities and the fusion approach, at engineering depth.
• Detection methodology and lead-time framing against legacy ceiling-mounted detection.
• Deployment profile: installation envelope, integration with vessel systems, operational handover.
• Indicative performance windows from the current bench rig, with explicit qualifiers.
• Type-approval and certification status.

What it does not cover

• Mechanical mounting geometry (IP-sensitive, patent-pending).
• Sensor placement coordinates relative to deck features.
• EtherCAT ring topology specifics and redundancy switching logic.
• Firmware state-machine internals.
